Program Manager

Job Title: Program Manager

Main Function:

This position has the following responsibilities:  Oversee the planning and execution of major capital programs for the wheel business unit facilities.  Support in the development of the Wheels capex budget, and oversee its implementation throughout each budget year. 


Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop, implement, and direct an effective program management system, in support of and in compliance with, Company’s APQP system to assure timely and effective introduction of new product or process programs meeting all customer expectations.
  • Support in the development of the corporate-wide wheels five-year capex budget and follow-up to ensure spending is timely and within budget.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance lead-time capability in the area of concept-to-market commercialization by increasing focus on meeting key project milestones, proactively addressing problems or schedule slippage issues, improving communications between functional areas and management, and improving visibility on program status and roadblocks.
  • Maintain technical knowledge of leading program management tools and techniques.
  • Develop and maintain a professional liaison with Accuride key equipment suppliers.
